Refurbishment Martinez Montañés
This project has been really enjoyable due to the design options our architects gave the to the client, who selected the one suiting her needs. Working together was a great pleasure, adding value to the proposals.
A complete refurbishment of the property was required and involved two bathrooms being renewed, and the kitchen changed its original location, being added to the main living area, wich turned into a well lit, ample and versatile space, covering all the client´s needs.
The project´s new layout includes : entrance, dining space, terrace, spacious living, working desk area, storage cupboards, and new kitchen, all openly connected trough a black marble countertop peninsula. A door leads to a small corridor where the bedrooms and bathroom are connected.
The house has three bedrooms, varying in size to fit every use: big main bedroom with en-suite, spare bedroom with built-in wardroves, and smaller bedroom with wardrove, compatible with living use.
All new services needed to be completed, split system AC (cooling and heating), plumbing , gas, and complete new electrical system was also installed.
New lackered aluminium windows were installed together with double glazing.
All finishings were of the highest quality as you can see from the pictures below, from the outstanding oak laminated general flooring to the glass gresite mosaic floor, porcelanic Arena tiles 90x45 cm in the bathroom. The shower also required glass mosaic tiles and fitting of a waterproof glass screen.
The kitchen furniture was also contracted, so a high gloss white finish front, push to open, with no handles was selected together with natural black marble counter tops. All appliances were supplied and installed, including fridge, oven, cooker, hood, microwave, sink, pull tap, etc...
Also a pantry was designed the old way, with white marble floor and shelves and wall to ceiling tiled in white too.
